In 1995, Janie launched Web Head Group, which is today
regarded as one of the premiere Web Technology companies
in South Texas. Janie and her husband, Bill González,
lead a team of professionals and partners that handle
all aspects of Web Technology…from the creation and
hosting of Web sites and e-mail to the building and
maintenance of databases to Web applications that
increase sales and awareness for major companies,
non-profit organizations, and government agencies.
Web Head Group’s client roster includes SBC/Yahoo DSL,
H-E-B, Taco Cabana, Zachry
Corporation, Alamo WorkSource, Gonzaba Medical Group and
many others.
Janie takes great pride in having grown Web Head Group
from 2 employees to over 25 full- and part-time
employees and partners and nearly a million dollars in
annual sales in just 10 years. She says Web Head Group’s
success is due to embracing change and always being one
step ahead of evolving technology that cuts costs and
increases profits for Clients.
As an entrepreneur, Janie is known for her exceptional
ability to quickly learn and understand a business and
its Web needs, and to identify opportunities for growth
and expansion through Web technology…opportunities that
go far beyond traditional marketing.
Her achievements for Clients have been profiled in the
media including Hispanic Business Magazine, the San
Antonio Express-News, San Antonio Business Journal,
Texas Monthly Biz Magazine, KMOL and Telemundo TV,
Vanidades Magazine and Compaq Company’s newsletter.
Janie is often called upon to speak at technology
seminars, workshops and trade shows.
Janie believes in good corporate citizenship. She is a
member of the Texas Statewide Health Coordinating
Council, Texas Public Radio Board, Boys and Girls Club
of San Antonio Board, the San Antonio Technology
Accelerator Initiative, and Neighborhood Housing Services of
San Antonio.
Janie earned a Bachelor’s of Art in Sociology from the
University of Texas at San Antonio. Also, she is a
graduate of the University of Texas at Austin’s Graduate
School of Business Community Advancement program, and
she has completed several courses in Business
Administration at the University of the Incarnate Word.
Janie and her husband, Bill, have three sons: Willem,
Anakin, Ethan. All family members are native San Antonians.
